As a child, I had dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and caring for all kinds of creatures. When I turned 18, I decided to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I spent her days cleaning cages, walking dogs, and playing with cats. One day, while at the shelter, I met a little dog named Max. Max was a stray who had been brought to the shelter after being hit by a car. He was scared and in pain, but I saw the potential in him. I decided to foster Max until he was healthy enough to be adopted. As I cared for him, I fell in love with the little dog and decided to adopt him herself. Max is know on heavens but I continued to volunteer at the animal shelter and my friend call me "dog whisperer."
